Team CAN Youth along with four interns from TISS Guwahati visited Doyapur under Dhansiripar Sub Division of Dimapur District to interact with the school/college drop out for the upcoming project on employment and education. The Team also visited one of our Beautypreneur who is running parlour through the support of Godrej saloni, and also mobilizing young volunteers for Green way project. The Team also visited Dhansiripar town for the upcoming Branch office to be set up soon. The Team was led by coordinators Waisringdao Naiding and Chozivolu Kiho.

Meet our CAN Youth Member Miss. Ramthailu Alice a 20 years old & B.Sc student who started a initiative/enterprise A.J. Online Handicraft Store in Dimapur. Her story came out in Social media in We The Nagas. A young girl who has the passion for handicraft started to make her own products when she was in the high school after which she decided to make her passion into business by opening her very own online A.J. Online Handicraft Store. Alice does all the handy work by herself like crochetting, paper crafting, hand embroidery. The project beautypreneur by Godrej salon i is undertaken by CAN YOUTH in Dimapur. Mobilization was conducted by the team Beautypreneur of CAN YOUTH from the month of May, thereafter the orientation program was conducted at Kuhuboto area and Dimapur area with 30 girls and women. With the completion of orientation program in two places our team identified 5 beautypreneurs for further training process. The Trainers of Trainees (TOT) was conducted by trainer Julie kinimi of Youthnet at Youth resource centre, Kohima the training continued for 7 days from 4th of July till 7th of July. On day 1 the Beauty Preneurs were acknowledged on the Theory of Personal Care and Hygiene (PHC) and the training process went on with the Theory/pra ctical of skin care, facial steps,hair therapy and so on.…

Organized by CAN Youth in collaboration with Green Club Zunheboto and Sponsored by Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI). The training program was inaugurated by Smt. neeru Suri President Assam Rifles Wives Welfare Association.
