Young people from different educational institutions in Dimapur were sensitized on the “Role of youth participation in understanding and making our Constitution come alive,” on Wednesday at DBDL Hall, Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Dimapur. The programme was organized by Community Avenue Network (CAN) Youth under the Samvidhan LIVE – The Jagrik Project, Common Action Day culmination event. Campaign on Samvidhan Live – the Jagrik project was kick started by CAN Youth by observing constitution day on November 26 with the children, youth and mothers at Baptist Church, Thilixu block 1 Dimapur with legal aid counsel cum trainer, NSLSA, Esther Aye. During keynote address, chief functionary CAN Youth, Jenpu Rongmei highlighted the mission and vision of its organization and importance of knowing the constitution. CAN Youth, a Dimapur based NGO, supported by Mittika, Delhi DOR (Dialogue, Organize, Reclaim) organized a campaign against GBV (Gender Based Violence) at Eastern Christian College, Dimapur on November 25.
