The Kiphire Wildlife Division, Department of Forest, Environment & Climate change conducted Capacity Building workshop on Environment, Education and Livelihood in Fakim Village & Thanamir village, Kiphire District on 6th & 7th November 2018 respectively. The capacity building workshop was facilitated by CAN YOUTH and assisted by Rural Community Development Centre Society, Peren.   The workshop was facilitated by Jenpu Rongmei, Chief Functionary, CAN YOUTH and Dikugong Esalung, Founder & Chairman, RCDC Society, Peren. A three day long Jamboree conference was held on 2nd to 4th of November, 2018, City Convention centre at Imphal organized by The Global Shapers Community Imphal Hub under the theme “Our Future, Our Responsibility”, with the vision to build a resilient youth population equipped with knowledge, skills and zest to act, advocate and make a better decisions tomorrow through three critical areas building society with conformity to youth which are as follows 1. The objective of this campaign aims at providing financial assistance to students who have drop-out from schools due to financial constrains.     The organisation had its inauguration of 3E Information & Resource Centre for Youth, today on 13th of October 2018, Burma Camp, near Traffic point, towards walford Road.  Resource Centre was inaugurated in the presence of Pastor Gangmuna Gonmei, Rongmei Baptist church, United North Block, Burma Camp, Mr. Jijo K Xavier, coordinator of Youth Involve Fellowship, Bosco Institute Jorhat and Mr Tsenthungo Lotha, president of Dimapur Urban Council Chairman Federation as a Special Guest. Paper Bags training to avoid plastic pollution (CAN Youth)

Plastic pollution had destroyed the entire environment. In order to protect and preserve this, the society to take ownership of the fundamental duties and responsibilities to promote paper bags which are eco-friendly and will supplement their livelihood for a better environment and society. A two-day training program on paper bags was conducted with Informal Education for Marginalized Children (IEMC) and community Educational Centre School (CECS) at CEC Kuda village, Nagarjan on September 6 and 7, and a one day training was conducted at Rotary Club Dimapur, organized by Dimapur Municipal Council in collaboration with CAN Youth, Community Education Centre & Rotary Club Dimapur on September 8. The master trainer were Marina and Alice, assisted by Ekhumnaro. A total of 80 participated on the training program.
