CAN Youth organised a launching Campaign called '' My scholarship Foundation'' under the theme '' Lets begin with a step by giving hope'' at Tourist Lodge conference hall, powered by Nagaland Alliance for children & Women Rights (NACWR). The objective of this campaign aims at providing financial assistance to students who have drop-out from schools due to financial constrains. CAN Youth would like to extend our gratitude to Mrs. Elis Swu, General Secretary, Naga Women Hoho Dimapur, for gracing the programme as a special guest.     The organisation had its inauguration of 3E Information & Resource Centre for Youth, today on 13th of October 2018, Burma Camp, near Traffic point, towards walford Road.  Resource Centre was inaugurated in the presence of Pastor Gangmuna Gonmei, Rongmei Baptist church, United North Block, Burma Camp, Mr. Jijo K Xavier, coordinator of Youth Involve Fellowship, Bosco Institute Jorhat and Mr Tsenthungo Lotha, president of Dimapur Urban Council Chairman Federation as a Special Guest. The Centre aims at three E aspects i,e. Education, Employability & Entrepreneurship, the Resource Centre has been created also to give space for our youth today. Community Avenue Network (CAN Youth) in collaboration with Prodigals Home organized a two days programme on ‘Relief Aid for Flood Victims’ along with the interns of North East Institute of Social Science and Research (NEISSR) and St. Joseph University (SJU), funded by the Humanitarian Aid International. The programme was conducted at Chungaizeang colony on 21st September, 2018 and at Namgalong Colony on 22nd September, 2018 under Burma Camp. Paper Bags training to avoid plastic pollution (CAN Youth)

Plastic pollution had destroyed the entire environment. In order to protect and preserve this, the society to take ownership of the fundamental duties and responsibilities to promote paper bags which are eco-friendly and will supplement their livelihood for a better environment and society. A two-day training program on paper bags was conducted with Informal Education for Marginalized Children (IEMC) and community Educational Centre School (CECS) at CEC Kuda village, Nagarjan on September 6 and 7, and a one day training was conducted at Rotary Club Dimapur, organized by Dimapur Municipal Council in collaboration with CAN Youth, Community Education Centre & Rotary Club Dimapur on September 8. The master trainer were Marina and Alice, assisted by Ekhumnaro. A total of 80 participated on the training program.

In a mission to develop smart education among students and its environment, CAN Youth under its project ‘SPATIAL’ organized a workshop for the teachers of five intervening schools on the topic “Developing emotional needs and behavioral attitude of a child” at Conference Hall Tourist Lodge Dimapur. The resource person of the workshop was path finder director, Vitono Gugu Haralu, District Education Officer (DEO) Dimapur, R Amongla Jamir delivered the exhortation who shared her experience of being a teacher, She also encouraged the teachers to understand the problem a child weaknesses difficulties and needs of the students, be friendly, identify their creativity and quality of the students.
